Privacy and Information Policy
Information is the backbone of the Australian Morris 850 Register - without it, there would be no register. We desire to be fully transparent on what information we collect and how we handle it, giving confidence to contributors and ensuring trust in the register.
This policy outlines the personal and car-related information we collect and process to carry out the functions of the Australian Morris 850 Register.
In short, we may publicly share any car-related information held on the register, but we will never publicly share personal information held about you without your consent.
The Australian Morris 850 Register is hosted on eight-fifty.com, and accordingly is also subject to the privacy policy of eight-fifty.com.

Types of information
Two types of information are considered in the context of the Australian Morris 850 Register – personal information and car-related information.

Car-related information
Car-related information is information that identifies an Australian-produced Morris 850 (a ‘car’) and any associated information or photos related to that car. Examples of car-related information include car number, engine number, colour, and delivery date.

Car-related information
We collect car-related information for the primary purpose of building and analysing a database of production details for Australian Morris 850 cars.
Car-related information may be obtained in many ways, including directly from users by online forms, emails, social media, in person, or other publicly available or private sources.
Use of information
Personal information
Your personal information will be used for reasons including:

If there is a change of registrar/s for the Australian Morris 850 Register, we may transfer our database, including all personal information contained in those databases, to the future managing registrar/s.
With exception of the above situation, we will not sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission, or are required by law to do so.
